This is Why We Have Been Loving Fremont So Long

T or not, it still sells over asking in Fremont Ardenwood. Nicely updated house. With WFH fever, I wonder bigger homes are in demand. Bigger homes in Fremont and Pleasanton are quite attractive IMO. Still you are close by, schools are good, and yet spacious.

Selling 10% over asking in Fremont. Personally I felt asking price is where the market price would be. Maybe a factor of bigger sqft and demand.

I actually want to live in Berkeley. Very much so.

In Berkeley we had carpets on the floor. In Fremont it was on the ceiling of your van in 1975. Berkeley is cool. In more ways than one . Same weather as the Sunset district.

Yeah you want to live in your youth in 1975  ? I hear there was no internet or smartphones then.

WFH(if permanent) is not good(relatively speaking) for any area which is commutable to work centers.

Yep. And life was much better. People actually talked to each other. I surfed everyday and weighted 165 lbs all muscle. Miss my youth. Used to drive around the Berkeley campus with my surf boards on my parents Volvo wagon before heading to Santa Cruz.
