Definitely spending less. Companywide also.

Spending less IRL means you have more money for trading. Duh!

This may be a marketing strategy within the legally permitted scope! Citadel Securities is one of the leading market maker, HFT firm, they will be playing wild algorithmic games in market.

What are these people doing buying stocks that could soon be delisted?

Who knows. Get on Reddit and ask around. I heard they hang out there.

Biden,

Thank you for triggering the 1000 points drop :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I think it was triggered by retail buying of penny stocks and bankrupt companies pulling back. They are leading the fall (at over 5.1%).

also the Biden proposal is to halve the tax cuts (take it to 31% not revert the entire cuts). makes sense if you want to pay down the ballooning deficit

Most stocks are trading above 50-day SMA prior to Biden’s comment. What matters now is whether 50-day SMA hold.

Commentaries and views don’t have to make sense or accurate. It only need to appear at the time when traders want to profit take, usually when market is overheated e.g. stochastics/ RSI is overbought.

Ironic how the market made that the temporary top and took a crap on itself. Market manipulation is happening constantly. Cramer came out and said he did it all the time himself.

Win win for Biden. Tanks the economy hoping to hurt Trump. Meanwhile he stole 5% of the assets of the stock market. Probably guaranteeing a Trump win.

Market is just trying to find an excuse to shed some fat, but in this case the Fed won’t step in since it’s not Trump related :smirk:

Rampant speculation in the stock market — you ain’t seen nothing yet. Thank the Federal Reserve

Kurtis Vu, a 19-year-old student and sales associate in Huntington Beach, Calif., sounds almost philosophical explaining his call to buy cruise and airline stocks. “Looking at the news, you’re taken aback, you’re on edge,” he says. “You don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow or the day after, but you have to take advantage of what you can.”

Sound like @manch :grinning:
