Can only happen in America: immigrant making it to become the world’s richest person.

You miss out the most important fact. After he has moved to Austin :man_dancing:

#2 is the son of an immigrant. It makes you realize all the talk of elites systematically oppressing everyone is just BS. It’s a lie people tell themselves to hide their own failures, since becoming a victim makes it so it’s not their fault. The sooner we wake up and realize America is still the best opportunity in the world the better. Opportunity doesn’t mean it’s an entitlement. It just means the option is there if someone chooses to go for it.

You’re right but those guys are also not wrong. Elon and Jeff live in the West Coast and they go after new frontiers. Those guys who talk about elites are likely to live in MidWest or East Coast.

I completely agree with this. Many of the problems we face as a nation on both sides of the aisle are due to the mindset that the state/country/world owes people a certain quality of life with no or minimal work on their part. Immigrants appreciate that the ‘law of nature’ i.e. survival of the fittest is more meaningful and less mutable than the ‘laws of man.’

Smashed thru Cathie Wood’s price target.

As long as people are waiting to buy, it is not falling !

Use blackjack winner magic: Buy some shares, when dips 5%, double it, when dips 5%, double it, and go on until you see dips.

Next week?

why is LMND on your buy list? What is so great about it?

Deep dive on Lemonade:

Insurance is a huge TAM, and all the other legacy players suck at digital tech. People rave about their customer experience with LMND. So far they only offer renter insurance, with home insurance a recent add on. The insurance universe is humongous, and they are well placed to at least have a good crack at it.

It’s a bit like Amazon. At first they only sold books. Then they sold CD’s and DVD’s. Then they sold… Retail is a huge TAM. They can add Product Category N and there’s always Category N+1. Same with insurance.

Saw Cathie sold quite a bit of TSLA:

Sell TSLA 88160R101 TESLA INC 122,288 0.4873
Sell TSLA 88160R101 TESLA INC 24,481 0.9910
Sell TSLA 88160R101 TESLA INC 18,034 0.2538

Also keep seeing this name in the last few days:

Buy BLI 084310101 BERKELEY LIGHTS INC 157,019 0.1588

Massive supply of equity, surpassing the height of the dot-com years.

Wicked rally and I missed it. I did start loading up on UVXY though (52 week low). I’m not sure what it is but I still see a bit of correction coming very soon.

Me2 but the squiggles can continue for awhile till we think like Newton, missing out and jump back in, just in time for the sudden dive down. I’m almost completely out of semis. Sold out of cloud stocks and only hold minor position in genomics stocks in the exploratory portfolio. Main trading portfolio is about 50% cash.

Jim Cramer said Trump’s word worth nothing. Btw, Jim used to support Trump.

Yep. I’m staying out and not chasing for now. If SPX rallies to 4000, so be it. I’m more interested in crypto, gold and silver as I want to accumulate more.
