Twitter Bombed. Anyone Buying?

.

TWTR goes bankrupt? EM wasted his hard-earned TSLA gain to buy a lemon? Carl Icahn is giggling.

If Twitter isn’t viable without censorship than Musk will have done America and the cause of free speech a huge favor by bankrupting it.

If Elon got rid of Twitter, I think Tesla may shoot to the moon. No more costly distraction for Elon. Running a social network is no fun. Just ask Zuck.

Don’t know about the Sheon guy, but the Eric guy has been fired.

Thou shalt not cross da boss.

Musk ordered Twitter employees interested in working for his “extremely hardcore” version of Twitter to click a sign up link by Thursday 5 pm ET, or else they would be considered part of a voluntary layoff and receive three months of severance pay. So many employees refused to sign up that it took Musk and his transition team off guard, another person familiar with the company said.

Elon treats employees like dirt. Unless the pay is good or high probability that TWTR would rocket many folds, no point putting in the drudgery.

Twitter will be fine. Lots of people on Twitter, oddly, are cheering for it to fail. But it’s clear to everybody who uses Twitter regularly that it has been a mess pretty much since its launch. Took these elite engineers 15 years to do an Edit button. Search is still broken.

Don’t know how many the dictator gonna keep firing!

Elon hit the wrong side and he will pay for it.

First, he paid heavy price on Twitter.

Firing mass employees without proper research will further affects him.

Ex-Employees sure suffer, but May survive with some jobs after a stressful struggle.

But, such indiscriminate firing first week office create big loss on his 45B money! By this time, it would have dropped to 20B or less.

Elon has to manage company, should not show anger to employees like the way he is showing to SEC,but not create problems for his 40+ billions. His loss will be more than employees loss by shear size of billions.

What will be interesting to watch for is unintended consequences for the current King of Tech.

He offered an ultimatum to subjugate the remaining unwashed masses of Twitter. But the mob revolted and a significant number took him by surprise by choosing to leave than bow to him.

Now what happens if the downtrodden at his other companies get inspiration and follow suit?

I actually think the techie revolt at Twitter is overhyped. Sure, a ton of people are gone. But nobody is irreplaceable. Unless the Twitter engineers are all garbage the service should function just fine without constant babysitting, at least in the short run. In the longer run I think Elon will hire more SWE’s to replace the people who left.

This photo is allegedly taken at 1am.

The tech side is fine. The intractable challenge at Twitter is the moderation of content. It’s hugely politicized and no matter what Twitter does it’s bound to piss off a large amount of people. And that will affect Tesla and SpaceX negatively. Nobody knows who’s the CEO of Ford or Toyota but everybody knows Tesla = Elon Musk.

Musk whole program is about hype and environmentalism . Tuned into the millennial psyche about EV and the environment. Once they turn on him then his hype is crap and they will go to Rivian and others.
Rivian is already the hipster vehicle of choice in Tahoe.

Speaking of which…

http://www.cnn.com/2022/11/19/business/twitter-musk-trump-reinstate/index.html

Now Elon will be personally responsible for every offensive thing Trump will say. And I am pretty certain Trump will say plenty of offensive things.

Poor TSLA investors.

Paid $Bs just to reinstate one account? Hmm🐔
