Update On Who Is Hiring And Firing

The firing list isn’t surprising except Tesla. Legacy hardware companies have been laying off for years as the cloud makes the product obsolete.

Wow, I wonder how profitable youtube will be afterwards. That’s a LOT of added expense. They’re also trying to compete with TV with their $35/mo offering.

I have to admit, I have gone on Youtube a lot now. Way more than regular tv viewing…

Those jobs are related to IoT :grin:

The only way people are hiring engineers is poaching them from other companies. That means every hire creates another job opening that needs backfilled.

True. Especially as big companies compete with other big companies for the same skills. With winner takes it all, its a race to market. Cant maintain the speed organically.

not too bad. just get yourself some cracking the coding interview stuff & leetcode. it seems to be the way to do it these days.
