@Elt1
Is this a “fad?” Doesn’t seem to be going away.
I don’t worry about fads. I will be gone soon enough myself. I am just waiting for the lawyers to sue them once they become popular. Can’t sue beef. But a brand name is attractive to ambulance chasing vultures like flys on shit.
Speaking of fads, wallpaper is back. Who knew?
Left scrap meatless burger outside for the stray cat. The cat sniffed at it once and left. This is not China where everything including N95 masks are contraband stuff…

Patrick Brown is an arrogant ass. Does he have any culinary training? No
I would not trust this asshole to even make me a sandwich. Worth hundreds of millions, to cheap to get his teeth fixed.
Mystery meat
Impossible Foods’ burger is made from genetically modified soy, and its characteristic “bleed” comes from soy leghemoglobin (which later turns to heme) that’s made from genetically engineered yeast.May 6, 2019
Actually made from
Great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts Mutilated monkey meat Doody little pigeon feet All mixed up in puddle of poisonous opossum puss And me without my spoon And me without my spoon And me without my spoon Great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts And me without my spoon We’ll use a straw!!!
It’s not for you. Calm down. I stick to my prediction. 50 years from now eating cow meat or chicken meat will be like eating dog meat today. Killing animals for food will be looked upon as barbaric.
Another reason to be glad I won’t be here 50 years from now.
Humans have eaten animal flesh since the beginning of time. Modern cuisines like French, Italian and Chinese have been developed over 5000 years. The arrogance of millennials and Pat Brown is appalling.
For them to to think they know more about food than the collective mindshare of all human history makes me puke. If Brown was a brilliant chef it would be one thing. But it seems his diet consists mainly of burgers. What a joke.
As far as cows and chickens, this vegan movement will mean mass extinction for farm animals. If you are correct, they will responsible for the biggest mass extinctions in history. Farm animals will cease to exist. Nobody will bother to husband them once they are no longer needed for food. Who are the murders now? I love the little Ceasars ad when their meat pizza is delivered to the Vegetarian society office. The word vegan did not even exist then.
…and two medium pizza’s for $10 don’t exist now.
You get still get a large pepperoni/cheese pizza from Little Caesars for $5… That’s super cheap.
I still can’t find a place for @pandeyathotmail 's $10 lunch buffet (yet) since the $10.49 place I found was too high for him.
Didn’t realize; that is crazy cheap.
One thing I miss here in AZ is Sizzler’s salad bar. About $14 if I remember right but there was nothing else like it. By the time you tried everything you didn’t need to eat until late the next day. Also miss 3 Amigos in Pescadero. A lot of farm workers ate there. For around $12 you got a burrito so big it felt like they put a dumbell in the bag. Good stuff.
They will only take my meat away from my cold dead hands
I am sure some people are still upset they can’t eat dog meat anymore. Time’s changed. We all evolve. Get on the program.
I don’t get how being raised in tight cages, fed chemical junk, only to be slaughtered days later is such a great deal for chickens.
Why do millennials think they know more than the total mindset of humanity for all time? Who the hell knows what a chicken thinks? They are bred to be eaten that’s it. They will become extinct if the vegans win. I already have recipes for Kentucky fried vegans. Probably taste better than carnivores
BYND bombed on a massive revenue miss. It turns out much of their sales growth was consumers stock piling when the pandemic started. Now their sales are back to normal levels. Their product was never as popular as some thought.
Beyond meat is another stock market food service darling like Boston Market or Shake Shack. I stay away. Chipotle may be the exception.
