Nobody has the amount of user data that Google has. In addition they are at the top of Machine Learning/AI charts. Once/if/when they settle, it’ll be hard to touch them in AI/Machine Learning. I’m just looking at it as an investor 
, while I don’t use any Google native apps.

Maybe that’s true, but I’m not aware of that…
Yet google maps for Seattle are useless.
What do you use if you need to use maps in the Seattle area?
Went on a road trip from Bay Area to North Oregon coast /South Washington and back in May. The routing by Apple Maps was poor, so had to reluctantly install Google maps to my phone (I hate using any google native apps), and it’s routings seemed to be what an efficient routing should be like, for sure much better than Apple Maps.
Waze works better.
Apple maps is worse than google maps. It doesn’t understand the I-5 express lanes which change direction based in the time of day. It won’t recommend them.

Correct but they clearly haven’t integrated the backend data to make them an equal experience for users. I’m sure that’s on their roadmap.

Probably want to release buggy products to gather feedback 
A week after telling Recode that no data collected by Portal would be used to target Facebook users with ads, the company walked back the statement and said that because Portal’s software was built on Facebook’s Messenger infrastructure, it collected the same type of type of data and could potentially be used to inform ads.
Don’t buy any hardware products from FB and GOOG, their products are worse than Huawei’s possible software loopholes, their software are built intentionally to gather info from YOU. I avoid their products like plague. Btw, don’t buy any IoTs such as Ring from AMZN.
