After the funeral, Trump may hire Bush’s old DOJ head. Bush family may start sending talents to Trump and use establishment to staff the administration.
Is it a compromise between Trump and the establishment? Or one side trumped the other side?

Just like 2016 the Democrats only strategy is to run as anyone but Trump. Hillary lost with that strategy. And none of the current candidates is even in her league.
In fact a 37 year old mayor of a small town with no national recognition is now the number 3 candidate. Pretty pathetic.

Biden is going ahead, don’t know why he is still waiting
He is waiting for his touching scandals to go away. But when Mayor Pete shot up in the polls it is safer to be undeclared
Biden is pretty old now, he can’t afford wasting time. If I were him, I would announce last year. Too much calculations.
Mayor Pete may not be nominated, and he lacks experience to be a VP.

I think you can burn out early. He is old no matter what. Best strategy is let the minor candidates bash each other and then jump in. Biden has everything to lose and nothing to gain by getting in early.

He promised not to run. Probably blew it. He will be 78 in 2021. 86 if he lasts 8 years. I don’t think he will run and if he does Trump will beat him.
Might be time for Newsom. None of the other candidates is as appealing.
Bernie and his $20,000/person of free stuff will save the day. Wait until all the Bernie supporters get confronted with what their tax bill for “feee” stuff would be.
Mueller report is released. Looks like the Democrats will continue to wallow in hearings, obsessively go after Trump and lose in 2020

A good friend just moved to Germany. His tax rate in CA was 30%, in Germany 45%. The free stuff costs an extra 50%. Plus since he has no kids and is over 40 he won’t get many of the benefits of the free stuff. And he has to pay $8/gal for gas.
Cost of living in Munich is the same as the BA. Houses are so expensive 67% are renters.
One good thing about Munich. They have no tolerance for homeless or trash. The city is beautiful and pristine with low crime. My favorite city in Europe to live in.
None of the problems of Paris which has horrible traffic trash graffiti crime and riots.

It is clear that the Mueller report is basically neutral in terms of Trump bashing. In other words the Democrats will keep bashing Trump and his supporters will ignore them.
It all comes down to a viable Democratic candidate… there isn’t one. Bullish for Wall Street.

For Trump to lose the Democrats need a viable candidate. Bumbling Joe will blow it. Bernie is less popular than Trump and the rest are political midgets.
Any of these people have a shot in 2024? Or the real deal is still hibernating? 2024 should be won by democrat, but it’s not clear who could be the winner
