Ok. I read the article. I guess that’s an interesting spin. Amazon helping to spawn small businesses. But I still see it as a way for Amazon to avoid the delivery costs… If they lose marketshare, they’re not stuck with the cost of unused vans.
Amazon is killing the middle class again. UPS and FedEx workers are unionized and get decent pay.
Those falling for this are fools. You can only deliver for amazon and have zero bargaining power. You bet amazon will squeeze you like crazy. You will be making minimum wage if you are lucky.
