You don’t know how to read chart and do TA. Don’t embarrass yourself. Even ChatGPT is better than you.
BRK owns tons of AAPL and KO
. Who are the idiots who refer to AAPL as a high growth tech stock? Living under a rock? Who is the fool who read click-bait article? Living in a small 7x7? Who is the moron who think Apple doesn’t have AI? Is he having a narrow definition of AI to mean LLM only?
AAPL outperforms QQQ by a large margin ![]()
Thinking Aloud: Assign a label to something/someone, then say didn’t live up to expectations. For example, SFers think SF is the best cosmopolitan city in the world. How come so many homeless, drug users and DT so dirty?
AAPL performance since dinosaur time?
Here’s how AAPL performs in the last 12 months. More relevant for people who don’t worship in the Apple cult.
Zoom out to 2 years.
Oops, still underperforms.
How will Apple, that sucks at AI, perform in a future dominated by AI?
![]()
.
Is this how you invest or trade? No wonder you underperform high school dropouts like Jesse and Chicken Genius.
Investment is about the future. Recency biased is no-no.
Cult members always resort to personal attacks when exposed. Because they lack rational reasoning capability.
![]()
You deserve that for taunting using click-bait article because…
I notice, now and then, you like to make taunting posts. Posts that lack deep thought and lack of rational thinking. Very free? Very bored? Scolded by your spouse? Thought you have other ways to cope ![]()
Not sure what you mean by click baits. Bloomberg is a hugely influential publication widely read by professional investors.
“Apple lagging behind in AI” is currently the consensus among investors. You can hide inside and seek comfort in your cult worship, but I don’t think ignoring reality is healthy. Sure, you may think Apple is actually not behind or that AI is not important to Apple’s future. Still that’s what the market thinks right now.
Personal attacks reflect poorly on a person’s character.
Your statement tells me you have lack of character ![]()
Professionals read paid Bloomberg subscriptions that is not available in public.
Talking PC and be decorous when is not appropriate is called hypocrisy.
.
Assuming you don’t mean to be demeaning when making above statement… few issues…
- Consensus is not truth;
- Apple is known to be cautious and won’t release new tech if they suspect there might be negatives eg Google Gemini;
- Apple tends to be late to the market, but usually the best;
Gen AI has a big flaw, inputs have to be facts, otherwise what come out is tainted… GIGO. Apple didn’t want to use content that contain tons of opinions and hearsay as training data. They want to use verifiable fact. Having said that, might be ok for AdTech businesses.
Lastly I suggest to you many times, don’t put words in other mouths and make deductions from those assertions.
I wrote about it last month, and speculated one way out for Apple is to license from leading AI companies like OpenAI.
Win-Win ![]()

A potential deal between the firms could help Google expand the use of its AI services to more than 2 billion active Apple devices, boosting the search giant’s efforts to catch up with Microsoft-backed OpenAI.
A competitor of a competitor is a friend. Also inlined with what Apple has been doing, buying DC services from the big 3 in hyperscaler businesses rather join in the race to build tons of DCs. Just buy more DC services. Is why Apple no need to buy that many H100s. Apple is not in hyperscaler business, any new innovation/ advance in that area, just buy them… a simple business strategy that non-AAPL investors don’t seem to understand.
“This strategic partnership is a missing piece in the Apple AI strategy and combines forces with Google for Gemini to power some of the AI features Apple is bringing to market,” said Daniel Ives, an analyst at Wedbush.
The Bloomberg report said Apple was planning to use its own homegrown AI models for some new capabilities in its upcoming iOS 18, but was seeking a partner to power genAI features, including functions for creating images and writing essays based on simple prompts.
Look like only licensed some capabilities from Google to supplement Apple own AI.
Lastly, these are rumors and conjectures based on rumors… has to wait till WWDC to know the details.
Thinking Aloud: Why partner with Google and not partnering with MSFT/OpenAI?
Thinking Aloud2:

Exactly. Also, Gemini has a woke issue.
As mentioned earlier above,
and
With the news on AI deal with Google today, it seems Apple has totally given up on all hot new cutting edge tech which are considered possible new large sources of revenue, whether that’s car or now AI.
Failure of leadership to foster engineering excellence and product vision.
Meta is not a hyperscaler.
Tesla is not a hyperscaler.
They both bought and continue to buy tons of Nvidia chips.
Simple facts that cult members don’t seem to understand.
Also, Elon Musk was able to spin up his own LLM from zero in less than a year. Apple with its unlimited resources has to outsource, despite a decade long headstart in Siri, which continues to suck.
.
Do you know why they are buying them for? Do Apple has the same need? Btw, I ask these questions a few times in slightly different ways, no response from you so far.
Thought you understood what is binary thinking? Only hyperscaler business needs H100s? Other businesses don’t need? Just because I mention only hyper scale business need H100s and you think other businesses don’t need? You expect me to list out other businesses that would need H100s? Why don’t you look at the list of companies on that chart of H100s shipped and see what can you deduce e.g. what are the nature of those companies?
Full of yourself. We don’t know what are the considerations made by these companies to arrive at those decisions. Are you assuming Apple MUST develop in-house the technology that you deem Apple must develop? If so, can you explain why Apple MUST develop in-house and not license them? Btw, I am not expecting Apple to copy whatever other mega caps are doing or hyping… lame.
Btw, we are conjecturing on rumors. I am very free so have time to do idle speculation. I am all ears for your bullet-proof “deep analysis”, don’t make me wait too long ![]()
From what I see, if the rumor is true, Tim Cook made an outstanding play, those that are not familiar with Apple business strategy and culture won’t understand. Actually, Apple business strategy and culture are talked about quite frequently on the web. Refer to Gene Munster’s comment, the Yahoo!Finance article and comments by two Xers ( images below).

Smart phone market has matured for many years. However, Apple iPhone has been gaining marketshare vs Android since 2018. The site that provides the charts didn’t give any reason. I suspect is because iPhone is the aspirational brand, so as people in emerging economies become well to do, they dump Android and buy iPhone.
