Retail will always be needed, but it needs to be the right kind of retail. Not some depressing Sears store at the corner of a big mall.

Read an article saying the expense to acquire online traffic via Google and Facebook is so big and return so little that it’s actually more profitable to open an brick and mortar with a lot of foot traffic. Online cos like Warby Parker and Casper are pioneering this online to offline approach.
