Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Covid-19

I just deleted it.

ā€œWe should be using every tool available to us to fight the pandemic. There’s no question about that,ā€ Carson said. ā€œBut that means, you know, therapeutics, which had been poo-pooed. And I understand why. Because in order to get an EUA—an emergency use authorization—to pursue the vaccines, you can’t have anything that’s effective as an alternative. So, that’s a defect in our system, we need to get rid of that.

Oh boy. If that’s the case, that would explain a lot about the FDA’s refusal to recognize alternatives. But I’ve so far heard that it has more to do about patents.

And he’s right about the failure to recognize natural immunity, and the mixed message sent by vaccinating citizens, but not illegal immigrants crossing the border.

workaround, giving back citizenship => illegal => no vax => get benefit. yay

One possible reason those migrants aren’t getting vaxxed.

Campbell’s thoughts on Omicron, especially relating to the UK and with observations on South Africa.

BTW: I think the most interesting observation he had was that if Omicron infections are doubling every 2-3 days, even if the symptoms are mild, the UK has a rule that you have to quarantine for 10 days, and this is going to knock out the workforce capacity… They also don’t have enough testing capacity

So he died ā€œwith Covidā€ but they can’t confirm that he died ā€œof Covid.ā€ Interesting.

And lot of death cause by vax is died because of heart failure, heart attack. My aunt in one of them in HK, and HK gov is not issuing death cert to his son unless he accept the death reason.

I think the distinction we want is whether someone showed up to the hospital with unrelated issues (broken leg) and ā€œhad Covidā€ vs. the Covid contributed to the death because they had comorbidiities vs. the Covid was the sole cause of death in an otherwise healthy person.

It sounds like the Dan Cohen’s objection is that the autopsy isn’t finished, so we can’t say which of these it is.

As for the vaccines/heart issues - they can be related too. Apparently the spike protein that the vaccines cause your body to make is damaging even without the virus. And if the vaccine is accidentally injected into the blood stream instead of your arm, the mRNA would be causing spike protein to be made somewhere along your blood vessels/heart.

Some people argue that it’s very rare to inject straight into a blood vessel, but definitely happens. One of my friends said she was bleeding quite a bit and the guy was wiping blood off of her arm after her injection. I’m hoping she’ll be ok :frowning:

As if millennials weren’t bad enough it looks like, thanks to Covid measures, we’ll get an even dumber generation following them. If that’s possible. Abstract is on p. 2.

"However, he said, his hospital has seen a lot of kids test positive for Covid without necessarily showing symptoms or getting sick.

ā€œWe test anybody who’s admitted to the hospital for whatever reason to see whether or not they have Covid, and we’re definitely seeing an increase in cases. However, we’re really not seeing an increase in children who are hospitalized for Covid or in the intensive care unit for Covid,ā€ Offit said."

PHEW!

But that’s a pretty misleading headline then.

ā€œHalf of the children admitted to hospitals during that period were younger than 5, meaning they are not eligible for a Covid vaccine.ā€

Interesting!

JP Morgan on Omicron.

I would never have thought that a Covid test could fail to discriminate between a Coronavirus and an Influenza virus but it seems that’s what been happening. This would explain the near disappearance of flu last year. It would also suggest an overstatement of cases.
