Wow. No way. My kids will take out their ‘cabin fever’ on me.

By the end of this week you’d wish you had a much bigger house, with a fully equipped man-cave. I know I do!

I have a somewhat decent sized house and a man cave (I converted the attic into a fully usable office space). My kids do come up here sometimes but they know if I am in here I must be doing important work.

@john needs to hurry up or even the bidets will be sold out.

taiwan to rescue us, masks, masks

“The reality is, once you use a bidet to clean after pooping you cannot go back to wiping and toilet paper,” he says. “Wiping seems not just inefficient, but also barbaric, by comparison.”

Hospital Workers Make Masks From Office Supplies Amid U.S. Shortage

Hospital workers in Washington state have been making protective medical gear out of office supplies and other run-of-the-mill materials as they deal with a severe shortage of equipment needed to care for patients who may have Covid-19.

Among the supplies coming in handy: clear vinyl sheets.

“We are very close to being out of face shields,” said Becca Bartles, executive director of infection prevention at Providence St. Joseph Health, a 51-hospital system. “Masks, we’re probably a couple of days away” from running out, she said.

How come today got less than yesterday? And what’s the total so far?

“The other problem is that there are only enough respiratory therapists, specialist nurses and doctors with the ideal type of critical care training in the U.S. for about 135,000 patients to be put on ventilators at any one time, the critical care organization said.”

Open source ventilators won’t help without people trained to use and maintain them. We already have 200,000 ventilators, but only enough people to run 135,000 at a time.

Total is 60K. By comparison South Korea tested almost 300K and their population is 1/7 of the US.

Good thing that people are not as dense as asia country.

It’s happening in the bay area as well. Bay area hospitals were asking my wife and her friends if they can source and donate PPE to them (as they are getting low on supplies). This is putting them in a sticky position. You can source or raise funds, hard to convince people to do both.

Is there social media post or press release?

Are you turning your back against PM Lee?

:scream:

I still haven’t worn a mask. Stay away from me.

Buy.

Studies found that the drug may cause fetal deaths or deformities, and can be transferred in semen.

Not an issue for elderly
