I feel these graphs are a little bit misleading because of the differences in population. US is at 55 cases/1M population. Italy is rapidly approaching 1000/1M. That said NYC is F’d.

went to costco today, they have limited amount of ppl going in, so there’s a line outside of costco.
some stuff are still short/ haven’t refill. but still okay
and i see a lot more people wearing masks now. we have hope

We have a positive case at work. The person was last in the office on 3/2. We complete closed the office on 3/9. Anyone who got sick from them should already be showing symptoms which means it probably didn’t spread in the office.

Wuhan/ Hubei cluster peaked at 58k confirmed cases. Will Italy peak at around the same order?

Unfortunately this thing will linger for a while. If you look at hk example. Once ppl relax a bit and took off the mask and start massive gathering at restaurants. With foreigners coming back. It’s back to square 1. Now have to start all over. So I think it’s hard to bottom till the vaccine approved and start manufacturing
