Defeat Prop 10: Strict Rent Control, Housing Freeze, Economy Freeze and Frozen Tech

Median home price in Tacoma is still under $300K. Seattle is cheap if you’re moving from the bay area.

What about Tonopah, Nevada. I interviewed for a job there as Postmaster in the early 90s. I didn’t get it and I don’t remember what price housing was but it was dirt cheap. It is truly in the middle of nowhere.

It must be super competitive to get postmaster job over there. You will be the Zuckerberg or googler in town

Prostitution is legal In Elko. I personally prefer Tahoe.
But if you want real Western country living Elko is the best deal around.

Can sex become a big indestry over there? Only 20k population. If it can build an airport, we can buy some hotels

Looks like someone beat you to it.

Inez’s D&D Bar[11] - “D&D” is reportedly supposed to stand for “Dancing and Diddling”.[8] The brothel is a next-door neighbour to the closed PJ’s Lucky Strike,[12] and its courtesans are all of Asian heritage. It was one of the first Nevada brothels to have an internet presence.[8] The brothel is under the same management as nearby Mona’s Ranch.[13]

Although it is not all Asian now

Man, if you can dim sum there too or decent chinese food, it could a destination…

Thanks for bringing my attention to prop 10 @BAGB. I received the flyer in the mail yesterday.

As much as I despise our current president’s behavior, it is sh*t like prop 10 that causes middle of the roaders like me to tilt towards the GOP in local elections. The Democrats are tilting way too far to the left and will be crushed again in the midterms unless they course correct. No on prop 10.

Prop 10 and its cousins are the reason Trump won.

No on Prop 10, then you will be able to elect your favorite president in the future. If Democrats don’t do rent control, Trump would have no chance at all.

If Prop 10 passes, many Californians will vote Trump for his re-election. Prop 10 is going to determine the direction for California

I posted a link to the NO ON 10 vote to some landlord forums that I am on. Great to spread the word. Thanks.

In acknowledgement of your observations about the root causes of trump’s election (ugh) Hopefully the reshaping of the supreme court will allow for a successful court challenge at the Supreme Court level to rent control.

Trump needs one more conservative on the court to replace RBG. If not rent control will remain

Health Edit
In 1999, Ginsburg was diagnosed with colon cancer; she underwent surgery that was followed by chemotherapy and radiation therapy. During the process, she did not miss a day on the bench.[103] Ginsburg was physically weakened by the cancer treatment, and she began working with a personal trainer. Since 1999, Bryant Johnson, a former Army reservist attached to the Special Forces, has trained Ginsburg twice weekly in the justices-only gym at the Supreme Court.[104][105] In spite of her small stature, Ginsburg saw her physical fitness improve since her first bout with cancer; she was able to complete twenty full push-ups in a session before her 80th birthday.[104][106]

On February 5, 2009, she again underwent surgery, this time for pancreatic cancer.[107][108] Ginsburg had a tumor that was discovered at an early stage.[107] She was released from a New York City hospital on February 13 and returned to the bench when the Supreme Court went back into session on February 23, 2009.[109][110][111] On September 24, 2009, Ginsburg was hospitalized in Washington DC for lightheadedness following an outpatient treatment for iron deficiency and was released the following day.[112]

On November 26, 2014, she had a stent placed in her right coronary artery after experiencing discomfort while exercising in the Supreme Court gym with her personal trainer.[11

One heart beat away from no more rent control

What happened to the old blue collar union Democrats that encouraged growth instead socialism.
Oh yeah the liberals igorned them took them for granted and only care about global warming and illegal immigrants.
Just like they did with blacks.

My dad is a life long union guy. I’m describe his as a Bill Clinton democrat. He’d never dream of voting for Obama or Hillary. He’s going further and further right as democrats veer hard left. He feels democrats abandoned middle class people like him in favor of the rich and the poor. It’s amazing how popular that sentiment is among people his age

We talk about stocks a ton here. The richest 10% own 84% of the stock market. The market hitting a record high doesn’t help 90% of Americans enough to matter to them. They care far more about the cost of healthcare which is going up faster than their pay.

It will get even more concentrated in the future. Winner takes all.

I was a Bill Clinton Democrat. He invented workfare. But the liberals thought it was demeaning. Same with the homeless. Instead of forcing them into rehab or jail liberals think it is more humane to let them eat sleep and shit on the street.
Trump is more appealing than Bernie. The middle is SOL.

That will cost more tax money with questionable outcome.
