They should really study the history of those countries. They have private ownership of companies. They have very high taxes on the middle class. It’s not at all what they think in terms of making the 1% pay for everything, so it’s all free.

I don’t think millennnials think things can come for free. They may have different funding priorities though. Like do we really need to have a military that can fight 3 major wars at the same time? If we don’t where else can we spend the money on?

Ban foreclosure on property tax payment. Using eviction on property tax as the penalty. Property tax based eviction to be initiated and executed by city government.
Home maintenance and repairs to be paid by tenant in rent controlled cities. Negotiable in non-rent controlled cities.
