Given how close the election will be this year, you are probably right, but I’m tired of people who use the popular vote as an excuse to dismiss the electoral college results. Pisses me off to no end. It’s goalpost moving.
I think this year, though, there are genuine concerns about both parties threatening endless lawsuits if the vote isn’t clear. All I can hope is that there’s no question about who won. Didn’t feel that way in 2016.

There’s a zero percent chance of discussing politics on Facebook. It’s way too risky if you don’t parrot all the left-wing propaganda. Facebook, Twitter, and social media became biased and censored the moment employers started firing people for opinions that aren’t left-wing approved. The fact NYT times defended the racist and sexist Asian-female editor over her twitter posts showed the state of where we are.
If this year’s turnout reaches 150M we are already 1/3 way there. 138M voted in 2016.

It’s mind blowing that liberals claim to care about minorities and low income people then fight against Trump’s policies. The low income and minorities have seen their best income gains and lowest unemployment in decades (or ever in the case of unemployment). Liberals would rather have those people dependent on government handouts than be self-sufficient. Liberals would rather complain that the tax cuts gave money to the rich. It’s as logical as people who still call TARP a bailout and can’t mentally process the fact the government made a profit from it. It’s about as logical as complaining Trump’s tax cuts increased the deficit (despite tax revenue increasing) while supporting Biden’s spending plan which would at least double the deficit.
There’s basically no chance Trump wins the popular vote.
Wouldn’t be so sure if I were you. Voter suppression was rampant in 2016 as the media ingrained into everyone believing that Hillary would win regardless of what happened. Many conservatives in blue states sat out thinking their votes didn’t matter. Jokes on who now. The mainstream media has been completely exposed for the past few years such that their propaganda is no longer effective. Wait to get your mind blown.
538 gave 4% probability Trump will win popular vote. Not zero, but very unlikely.
On the other hand it gave 32% chance Biden wins double digit margin in popular vote. 8x as likely.
By the way that’s virtually the same odds 538 gave Trump winning the Electoral College back in 2016. Things with 1/3 odds do happen quite often, like “once every three times” often.
Nobody thought Trump would win in 2016. Including Trump himself. Funny how the overconfident media and Biden could doom them again. Hillary was much more competitive than Biden. Biden’s only hope is that all the extreme Trump haters show up. Problem is a lot don’t ever vote.
