I really wish TSLA moves its HQ out of California. History hasn’t been kind to companies that did the move. I showed the chart of Toyota a couple days back. Here’s another example, McKesson:

Tesla would really put my thesis to test. Can it survive the move? Curious mind wants to know.

Tesla on Wednesday dropped the lawsuit it filed in early May against California’s Alameda County.
In the lawsuit, Tesla asserted that the county’s rules on mandated Covid-19 shutdowns contradicted California state policy.
Tesla stopped production March 23, but resumed operations earlier this month.

Why doesn’t he just move to Reno?. Already has a plant, approvals. Land to expand. Better weather and world class recreation. SF and LA one hour away by plane. There are plenty of mansions on billionaires beach in Incline one hour to his plant. Larry Ellison just built one for $100m. He and Musk can be Roomates. I doubt either will be there much.
