How Is The Circus, Err, Hearing Going?

Only two people testified on the sexual assault. One answered her questions fully and to the point. The other was evasive and visibly angry. I find the victim more believable.

I am open to have a FBI investigation and see more evidences.

This is the key point I keep bringing up. Supreme Court confirmation is a political act. You need the public’s trust. Even you are a hyper partisan conservative you have to admit more than half of the country is not fully on board. If you jam it thru you put the court’s reputation in great jeopardy. It does great harm to our democracy.

Attempted rape. Luckily he couldn’t have gone thru with it.

hmm … ok…

Btw, only people who are impartial can certify impartiality…

Are you the chosen one?

Do you always put words in others mouth?

My point is simple. If someone admits that they are not impartial, but then certifies others are impartial that logically does not fit.

Let me know where I categorized someone as such and I will withdraw my statement with apologies.

Not always. That’s why it’s question.

Where are they going to get more evidence from 35 years ago? She named everyone who was allegedly there. They all say the party never happened. So who else is the FBI going to possibly find to confirm the party even existed? The FBI has already investigated him 6 times for background checks.

You’re saying the guy’s a rapist based on evidence. Yet there’s not a single witness that can put the 2 people together at any point in time. The area where she says the house is located isn’t near where any of the kids at the party lived. Does that make sense? She might have been sexually assaulted at a party, but there’s zero proof Kavanaugh was at the party let alone the one that sexually assaulted her.

I agree with you, but I think the idea is that we go through the motions anyway to appease the general public. Yes, waste of time, but it is what it is…

Sound logical but …

There is circumstantial evidence that he was at the party based on the calendar he was so proud of. It was a line of questioning that the prosecutor the republicans hired was going down when they abruptly pulled her off and started questioning on their own

The number of people match. The people match (including Mark judge). And the fact there will be beer is also on the calendar

One week. I wish all crimes can be solved in one week.

Yet Mark Judge and Ford’s life long friend both say the party didn’t exist. I could see Judge siding with his friend, since admitting it would implicate himself. Ford’s lifelong female friend has zero motive to deny the party.

Look at the book entry: Timmy’s with Judge, Tom, PJ, Bernie, Squi. That’s 7 total people if you include Kavanaugh. According to Ford, there’s no Timmy (who’s house it was), Tom, Bernie, or Squi at the party. She’d probably remember Squi being there if her sister dated him. You’re calling that circumstantial evidence?

So let’s start pulling on that thread. There was a scandal last week (or was it earlier this week) that caused the resignation of a number of republican operatives because the story they pushed was the Ford had a case of mistaken identity and it was a friend of Kavanaugh and Ford that conducted the assault. The source for the assault is likely to have been the person named Squi (because he was the common thread) that linked Kavanaugh, the location, the wrongly accused person and the republican operatives in question.

Oh one more thing. Guess I am not too popular a person, but usually not everyone I invite to a party shows up. So ask 7, get 5 seems normal to me

Who resigned? How is this nothing more than democrat retribution for Kavanaugh’s contributions to the Starr report?

Next time, send a person with less baggage.

That’s the scary part, they thought they did…

Ed Whelan, Garrett Ventry, etc. If you follow the threads back, it seems to be have been a poorly orchestrated attempt to deflect and cover up based on information they expected to leak about Ford. The work had actually begun well before much of what we know became common knowledge

Whelan got to know about Ford from the white house and started this damage control even before the accusations became public knowledge.

What’s the deal with Zillow-gate? I saw that flared up on Twitter couple days back but didn’t pursue.

Too much Internet these days…

Putting a judge into lifetime seat on Supreme Court is a political act, so we need to see how people react. Here’s 4 not-so-random women’s views. Men mostly fall into political factions over this issue. Very curious how women see this whole thing, be they on the left, right or center.
