More investigation is good for everybody. If there is more evidence Kavanaugh did what he was accused, it is much easier to expose and stop him before he becomes the supreme court judge. If it brings more clarity to his innocence, it is good form him as well.

I just feel that the whole FBI investigation is not going to do anything or anything more, so just find a new, clean candidate ala a Neil Gorsuch. Everyone is coming out of the woodwork now, saying Kavanaugh was a drunk, etc. If a new candidate is pretty clean, confirmation would be fast and everyone would be reasonably happy. Let’s face it, the Demos will not be happy with anybody they pick but again that’s on them…

You mean a candidate that didn’t work on the Starr report.
If more evidence shows that Kavanaugh is not fit for the position, the vote a week later will show us the consequence(it will, right?). It is also a good thing to take a woman’s accusation more seriously so that more women will come out whenever they are treated unfairly. In that regard, no investigation after the accusation is not acceptable. It will only discourage women from standing up for themselves.
On the other hand, if Kavanaugh is innocent and the investigation reflects that, it will gives the men some comfort: it will not be enough to destroy a man’s career by just a woman’s words. Without that guarantee, you will not find a “pretty clean candidate”.

Ok. I’m kind of done with the whole thing.
Kavanaugh was a heavy drinker and a party-gor. I have yet to see it really denied. Whether he did stuff while he was drinking is a different question. The likelihood is that he doesn’t remember Ford even if something happened.
HOWEVER, Kavanaugh is right that the Democrats have turned this into a circus. Boxer deserves a demotion. She should’ve brought up the allegations months ago. I’d like to see both Boxer resign and Kavanaugh back out.

Ford is becoming more and more credible. While I doubt an investigation will be conclusive because ultimately only Kavanaugh, Ford and Judge were in the room, I suspect additional details will emerge.
– BK said he and Ford were not in the same social circle. Meanwhile, Ford was dating his bud Chris Garrett aka “Squi.”
– Ford’s recollection of bumping into Mark Judge at Safeway 6–8 wks after the assault is striking. Figure out when MJ worked at Safeway.
– On July 7th, BK’s calendar says “Columbia.” Did he have interview at Columbia University on that date or was he at Ford’s country club?

You meant Feinstein? Please don’t resign. I don’t like what she has done recently, but the other candidate for her position is De Leon, who I feel is Trump mirrored to the left.

Anyone at all concerned that none of Ford’s immediate family signed the letter supporting her? Her own parents and siblings want nothing to do with this. You’d think family would support a victim.
