Another good day or…

Open up but…

Dives immediately?

Yeah increased my sqqq position quite a bit near that resistance. Tight stop for me though if it breaks through.

Neither break up or break down :grimacing:

So cut TQQQ holdings to 600 i.e. sold 300. Still holding on to SQQQ and SPXU.

Dollar in the crapper today; gold and silver to the moon.

Did you buy bitcoin? Might be a good instrument to hedge vs global recession. Ofc, don’t bother if you don’t think there will be a global recession.

This higher stock market returns without corresponding increase in productivity will further increase trade deficits as people spend there newely minted money on imports. this will further pressure on dollar. higher asset prices are also increasing cost of living that further decrease job creation in high priced areas.

There are better hedges. International diversification into non-dollar denominated securities, for one. And gold has the advantage of not being reliant on any infrastructure for its value. Also, it’s been around for millennia.

The risks to market is increasing daily.

without a solution a truly dramatic situation can arise, and we all want to avoid this risk". Scholz then recalled that "the taxation of companies in the digital sector is also part of the European program that we have set ourselves, the ’ Next Generation EU ’ recovery plan . There is a need to finance credits in support of direct aid to Member States, there must be new own resources for the European Union, digital withdrawal '. This is in our program and all these elements are linked. "

Anyhoo, I notice PA turning light blue causes market to re-bounce from the morning’s slide. I quickly close half of my SQQQ. Didn’t re-buy TQQQ though. So still holding 600 TQQQs. Frankly, still not sure of the EW picture.

I’m not sure either. I reduced my SQQQ holdings too earlier today. Looks more and more like consolidation and maybe parabolic run-up to me. Will hold my long lotto calls and wait.

? At most charge up to $310 before falling. I will unload all TQQQ when QQQ hits there.

Got out of AMD at 84 today.

May end up being a big mistake.

Miss the opportunity of letting go :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: TQQQs, forgot that I need to - too old and forgetful. Anyhoo, may be ok, since my preferred count is in 5.ii, ensuing wave iii is an uptrend  wave which should go higher than recent high of $302.65. Wave ii is either completed at 280.63 (61.8%) or complete near $275 (78.6%) - time to add

I exited out of SQQQ and some QQQ put weekly lotto options I bought on Monday. Bought some FNGU today and wrote a few put options but I’m very unclear where things will go. Maybe it will just follow technicals but too muddy to go in big at this point.

Everybody is too busy getting upset over the election? We touched extreme fear at 25 the day before the election and a week later we are at 65.

EW counts indicate similar  Three possible counts,

  1. In wave 5.iii (most bullish)
  2. In wave 5.ii (decline to $275) - see yellow question marks
  3. In wave 4 (most bearish) - see red labels

Not sure which count is correct. So I sold all SQQQs. And sold TQQQ and QQQ calls bought yesterday. Back to holding 600 TQQQs  since no matter which one is correct, there will be a wave 5, uptrend wave that go above $175 (referring to TQQQ). For QQQ is >$304.

This seems to be a relief rally. All the election related hedges came off as nothing terrible happened. Maybe later reality will set in? Covid is having a huge 3rd wave but people are still obsessed over the election.

that’s my take on it:

Covid curve is parabolic. We are going to hit 200,000 cases a day this month not in January like I earlier thought.

Yeah, covid numbers are unfortunate and frustrating. I think most of the vulnerable will be protected this time around so I think death rate / hospitalization will be low. Hard to say if covid will have a lot of impact on the stock market this year. It might just propel nasdaq growth stocks to ATH instead.

Hospitalization is way up although death rate is not quite as bad. But it’s just a matter of time.
