Literally and Seriously

By the way guys, I personally have family in other countries. Not on “the list” but could be in the future – Trump could add any country to “the list” on a whim. If he does, my family can’t visit me, I will leave the country because family is important to me. I will sell my expensive Bay Area house, leave my extremely high paying bay area job. I am not the only one. Stop the madness.

I told my wife I am very worried about a shooting war with China. Her immediate response was “then we will be in a difficult situation.” She meant other Americans will look at us suspiciously. I told her about the Japanese internment camps history and the convo soon became too heavy to carry on.

The Trump admin is still young. Maybe if we made enough noise and protests our biggest fears will not become reality. So for me at least, waiting for bad stuff to happen and then protest is too late. We need to be proactive.

Those 7 countries on Trump’s list are pretty arbitrary. No one from those countries have done anything to us. It still pains me we are turning away refugees who have gone thru extreme vetting, waited for many years, were finally on flight with great hope to a new country and being turned away. None of this is necessary. There was no reason to believe any of these people will harm us.

From wikipedia:

Who will be leaving the US as xenophobia sets in?

Speaking of Obama’s America Firstness, I wish he had done more on Syria and Ukraine. He was too cautious to act and now those two countries are dumpster fires.

No, the majority demograpic of America voted trump.

If you believe the 7 countries are “random”, then you must only pay attention to heavily biased news sources. It was the Obama administration that identified them as sources of terror. It’s not difficult to understand why if you know what’s happening in those countries.

Also, did you miss the attack in the OSU campus by a Somalia refugee a few months ago? I realize the liberal media lost interest as soon as they realized it wasn’t an active shooter situation. It obviously didn’t fit their anti-gun agenda. Once it came out he was a refugee from Somalia they stopped talking about it.

LOLWUT? The majority of the votes cast went to Clinton. Your standard is ridiculous and is easily refuted:

  1. The majority demographic of the US is women (there are more women then men)
  2. The majority of woman voters voted for Clinton
  3. The majority demographic of America voted for Clinton
    QED

Why did you put quotes around the word random? Are you supposed to be quoting me? Because I didn’t say that. Is this an alternative fact?

You cant blame Obama for everything… he restricted eligibility to enter the U.S. without a visa.
Obama puts up a no trespassing sign
Trump invites you to his house and when you arrive tells you to fuck off

And a Trump supporter shot up a mosque. What’s your point?

Well, let’s be honest, if ALL of the Democratic voters out there (men, women, black, white, yellow, green, etc) ACTUALLY voted for Hillary we wouldn’t be in this predicament. That, is clear. And, I wouldn’t call 54% of ALL women exactly a ringing endorsement of Hillary esp considering ALL that The Donald said and did before and during the campaign trail. Democrats have NO ONE to blame except themselves.

BS I can blame everyone who voted for this asshat, regardless of their political affiliation.

Women example was to show how tenuous it is to claims that “a majority of WHITE people voted for trump” means some kind of win for democracy when a majority of PEOPLE didn’t vote for trump. Shows clear bias of poster, since he assigns arbitrary value to being white and disregards all other people. Maybe he wants to make america great again like when women and black people couldn’t vote?

Dude,

I am a registered Republican and EVEN I voted for her. Please…

Good for you, that’s my point. I don’t blame all republicans, only the ones who voted for Trump. Likewise, Democrats who did the right thing get no blame. It’s not fair to say democrats ONLY have themselves to blame… plenty of bad decisions all around

I voted for trump , and many people do.
The ones i know doesn’t HATE on the people vote for hillary. But we get hated, bullied all the time. anyone vote for trump is evil, anyone against ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is evil. whatever

Do you need a safe space? Do not mistake my words. I don’t think Trump voters are all evil or “whatever.” But you do bear responsibility for his actions. If Hillary had won, her voters would too. There is no double standard. Trump is the pres, stop deflecting to Hilary for his mistakes.

To some people , what trump is doing to them is wrong, to some other people, they’re loving it.
Same with obama. A lot of people absolutely hate obama and what he does, I do not see those voters vote against obama demonize the ones that voted for him.

If you do not like him, wait 4 years and vote him out . Same with the ones that voted against obama’s successor hillary.

Same with bush. There’s absolutely no need to put all these hate toward the other group of people

There’s a difference between hate and blame. I think you miss it. I don’t hate those who lack the foresight to see the train-wreck Trump is for the US. But they bear responsibility, not Democrats. Are you really still arguing that Democrats are to blame for Trump???

And yes, Obama voters got a lot of animosity. Not in CA of course, in those other states, e.g. https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/intelligence-report/2009/racist-backlash-greets-president-barack-obama

That doesn’t make sense. If someone is registered as a Republican, wouldn’t it be sensible and expected for them that yeah they will vote Republican more than likely? They are after all registered that way. Come on, I think a tad more blame should be bestowed on the Democratic voter bloc to be fair…

Blame is about cause and effect. Actual vote is what we in the biz call “proximate cause.” If you vote for Trump, you cause his election.

If a bird poops on my car, and I have a bad day cut off a Republican in traffic, and they go “oh those immigrants cant’s drive I’m voting for Trump” that’s still the voter’s fault, not the bird’s.

Some people are really good at deflecting the results of their own actions. Dems get a little credit sure, but it’s ridiculous and disingenuous to lay ALL the blame for Trump on Dems. Come on, that’s what you said you can admit you were wrong on that.

You are correct in that whoever voted for Trump, deserves it. Any votes that cross the aisle is essentially gravy. If all registered Democrats simply voted the way that they ideologically side with supposedly (the Democrat Party), we would not be here arguing right? The Democrat voting bloc F’d up and you know it. Plain and simple.
