Prop 10 may pass: LA Times poll

The facts disagree. I’m not sure how you have thst much population growth without building for people.

You know, as part of your will, you’re free to donate 30% of it to the government.

As for me, I think I’d rather avoid the inheritance tax. I’m paying a shitload of taxes right now.

Kill your spouse and get cheap rent:face_vomiting:

This is what can happen

Come on, why is an 85 year old man marrying a 28 year old woman? Sure, true love there…

No doubt, but the old, much more wiser men should not have fallen for it, at least not marry them. Sure, you have money, go and spend on them if you like but don’t tie the knot…

So they are thinking wth their little heads. These guys just wanted a little joy in their short time left. Easy marks.

Oh goodness. Did you see the clan name??? “The brides are all linked to the San Francisco-based Tene-Bimbo Gypsy family”

Mitchell only got a ten year sentence. They couldn’t prove murder.

Fortunately the nephew is a powerful politician. If the nephew is an ordinary citizen, I’m not sure the murderer can even be put into jail.

“James Vlasto, 66, who was press secretary for former Gov. Hugh L. Carey and for former Schools Chancellor Joseph A. Fernandez, addressed the judge before the sentencing. As Ms. Mitchell cast her eyes downward, away from Mr. Vlasto, he asserted that his uncle’s death had been orchestrated by her.”

Reading the article, she admitted she was guilty. It was the most they could give her under a plea-bargain.

Our criminal law is too lenient. Should be harsh

I dunno. In this case, I’ll take her being in jail even for just 10 years if she gave information… Her boyfriend belongs there too, and i’m sure they’ll eventually go after the whole family.

I bet the rest of these criminals got away with it. These murders happened over 20 years ago. Justice delayed is justice denied

Yet prisons are over crowded, and it costs $80k/yr for each prisoner. There needs to be a lower cost solution. Then you also have people crying about for profit prisons are evil. They act like criminals are the victims.
