Prop 10 may pass: LA Times poll

Different county may do it differently

No need stamps?

you can just go to one of those polling station to drop it off

But anyone know if it needs to put stamp?

In SF we don’t need to put stamps. It came with an envelope with postage already paid for. Which county are you in?

I believe we had to put stamps on them in San Jose. I know in Chula Vista we do.

Contra costa county

You should look at the envelope. It should say postage paid or postage needed on the upper right corner. Each county is different. I guess Contra Costa May require postage since Contra Costa is not known for high taxes

Alameda county needs postage.

We special in the Fab 7x7…no postage needed!!!

Uh…it’s free in San Mateo county too, hence why I thought it was free for everybody because I’ve only lived in SF and San Mateo county…

We are all biased in one way or another. Postage issue is a clear example

It’s my first time to vote, so a lot of things not very clear to me. But I found no need to put stamp and usps will deliver the ballot no mater what

Only if the voter is a Democrat :sunglasses:

It’s free in Santa Clara county as well I believe… at least it was free for me in San Jose and Cupertino

Requiring postage is a good way to screen out poor people from voting. Did not know even California uses this trick.

You can always vote at the polls on election day for free. I don’t know if you were kidding with that remark or not.

People that think their vote isn’t worth a 50 cent stamp should not vote. In Tahoe everyone votes by mail. I don’t even know if there is a polling station.

I am pretty sure there is a polling station by you. That would be un American…

Actually I am not kidding. Voting day is Tuesday, many poor people simply don’t have the flexibility in work schedule to vote when there are few people at the polls. After work everybody is busy making dinners, caring for kids etc. Do they have separate line to just drop off the ballots?

I don’t know how anyone can finish 4 long double sided ballots while standing at the polling station. It took me a few hours to finish mine. The school board election is the most crazy. We are supposed to choose 3 from 10+ candidates.
