I think the big question is what’s going to fuel the growth? Companies are looking to consolidate vendors and save. That’s been a consistent theme on earrings calls for 2-3 quarters now. It’s going away from buying the best-of-breed and big players who offer suites of tools will start winning more. Now that valuations are reasonable the big companies could do more acquisitions.
We just did a pretty painful software rationalize exercise to reduce and eliminate tools with redundancy and consolidate. Most are 3-year contracts, so it’ll play out over the next 3 years. Most companies are in the same boat, and we’ll see the winners and losers revealed over time.
The 3 main paths the growth are:
- Increase usage from existing customers
- Adding more customers
- Adding more products/services

Don’t understand why he is talking this way. FinTech stocks have been very loved recently… many have shot up 100-200% ytd.
