Minnesota is third coldest state after Alaska and North Dakota. What is attractive about it? At least western cold cities have beautiful mountains and skiing. What is happening in Minneapolis? Ice fishing? Hockey? Snowmobiling?

My friend just bought a 2bd condo with a roof top pool 300m from the beach in Nice. I definitely want to visit. Nice and environs is my favorite area in Europe. French but with Italian influence and skiing 3 hours away. With pleasant weather year round. Similar to BA weather. International airport HSR to Paris in 5 hours. Incredible international city with lots of young people filling the mid-evil plazas nightly with everyone eating outside. Streets are full nightly. Fun place

Why Sweden? I have another friend I havenât seen since college. Lives in Norway⌠700km from the artic circle⌠definitely too cold and dark for me⌠except summer time.

Europe is not near the top in my mind to retire. Europe has been declining for last two decades and will continue I think due to demographic challenges and bad immigration. France, Spain and Italy are nice but has language barriers.
Iâm looking at Hawaii but no good deals there. I would love to own a 180 degree ocean view in Hawaii and live there 6 months in a year. I guess many people like me are looking thatâs why no good deals.

You can find it on the east side of the big island near Hilo. Be prepared for more rain than the west and lava though.
Heâs from there. He bought a place thatâs 5m walk to his dadâs house.
Looking in Oahu only. Good restaurants shopping flights and healthcare. Hilo is nice too but not for me.
Any good places in England? Their currency is getting utterly destroyed and with an energy crisis threatening to shut down half their factories it may well get even cheaper. Nobody thinks much about Newcastle or the Lake District but thereâs lots of beauty there. Might be some good deals.
