I was at Golden Gate park this past Saturday. Parking was a nightmare near the gardens and museums. But absolutely beautiful day and many, many people were out and about. We walked over to Kevin’s noodle house on Irving for pho 
for late lunch. The place was still humming at 2pm with prices that can’t be beat in this day and age!

Yes, Kevin’s is pretty popular and there are several locations in the neighboring cities. We used to go to that one on Irving a lot on Fridays when we lived in the Sunset.
There is an article or letter in the Chron saying that tourism in SF is slowing coming back…
The marathon this morning had way more numbers from last year, so we are on the right track!!!
This new Vietnamese restaurant on Irving is much more popular with the Instagram crowd.

I don’t know where you go but even regular pho is approaching $20 at most places.
Besides Gao is selling a different product. It’s “higher end” , more fun, more experimentation, and more Instagramy.
Why can’t we have nicer Asian places at various price points?

I post because the mainstream media likes to turn a blind eye towards Asian hate crime. Instead they lecture us we need to just suck it up because we owe our rights to some other race group.
The latest incident happened in Aaron Peskin’s district. Did he condemn the crime or say anything? Not that I am aware of. Too busy working to ban self driving cars I suppose?
