Biden Has No Plan to Fight Inflation

Americans aren’t buying the idea that we can spend our way out of this mess.

Lol, he’s been a complete failure as a leader.

Even though politics is not my favorite, Biden funding the proxy fighting with Ukraine, with tax payers money - multi-billions when USA economy is going to be bad !

We are fine at least on humanitarian aids, helping the people, but funding proxy fighting arms deal is worst and no use to US tax payers.

Few sources factor in regulatory costs. The American Action Forum keeps a weekly tab of the cost of new regulations… While there isn’t a link to the whole thing; it’s weekly, the estimate is that under 8 years of Obama 100 billion in fresh costs were added to the consumer’s purchases. Under Trump, 1 billion. Under Biden, as of May of this year, 200 billion.

COST OF LIVING INDEX QUARTERLY UPDATE

Among the 262 urban areas that participated in the first quarter 2022 Cost of Living Index, the after-tax cost for a professional/managerial standard of living ranged from more than twice the national average in New York (Manhattan) NY to more than 20 percent below the national average in Kalamazoo, MI. The Cost of Living Index is published quarterly by C2ER – The Council for Community and Economic Research.
The Cost of Living Index measures regional differences in the cost of consumer goods and services, excluding taxes and non-consumer expenditures, for professional and managerial households in the top income quintile. It is based on more than 90,000 prices covering 60 different items for which prices are collected quarterly by chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and university applied economic centers in each participating urban area. Small differences should not be interpreted as showing a measurable difference.

The composite index is based on six component categories – housing, utilities, grocery items, transportation, health care, and miscellaneous goods and services.

San Jose doesn’t make top 10? That’s crazy Oakland is top 10.

The other crazy thing is that there are nice places and dump on both lists.

I am sure Oakland includes the whole East Bay. Poor people live in all these.cities. Big cities attract the wealthy and the poor. The middle class gets squeezed out.

Report says “participating” cities. So, Qn did San Jose participate? Don’t know.

Still 50% higher than average for last 10 years. Will come down further. Plenty of logs. Mills are trying to manipulate the market by holding back supply. Despicable and illegal in a pandemic. Profiteering
