Tesla’s trillion dollar valuation is fast approaching

Any jokers who love and believe in TSLA sold and didn’t buy back?

Many legacy automakers plan to slow down their EV rollout. Their delay will only let Tesla solidify and build on its lead.

Teflon Tesla…

amazon hq2 saga?

Sorry Mr Musk, Austin won’t give any incentives.

Good. Cities/states should not be giving 100s of millions /billions of dollars to lure companies.

Seriously wtf. I know it’s QE infinity time but Tesla just keep climbing.

Goldman Sachs analyst Mark Delaney initiated coverage of Tesla with a Buy rating and $864 price target. The analyst is positive on the company’s product lead position in electric vehicles - a market where he expects “long-term secular growth”. Delaney further cites Tesla’s early mover advantage, brand recognition, vertical integration, as well as traction from its Model Y launch in the important SUV and crossover market.

I find it comical people are touting vertical integration. Is this the 80’s? The vertical integration trend died decades ago. There were spinoffs

Ford -> Visteon
GM -> Delphi
Chrysler-> Dana

There was a time Ford bragged about the River Rouge facility. Raw ore and coal in one end and cars out the other end. They all learned over the long-term vertical integration lacks competition from other suppliers which results in bloated costs.

I’m curious if any industry is vertically integrated today. Tech companies are the complete opposite of vertically integrated. They don’t even own factories for final assembly. It’s outsourced. I thought Tesla was a tech company?

Wisdom is knowing what not to do.

Don’t be doing well when everybody is doing badly. Hard to believe those guys don’t know this principle.

Too much mediocrity in the rank and file. Now a horse becomes a donkey.

Pretty cool to see the colors of the light and the cones.

You’re not gonna miss all those High Paying jobs at Tesla HQ and their stock options to boost Peninsula home prices?

And

If they move to a cheaper location with nice juicy government incentives, their margins might go UP and stock price rallies more. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
