my gas stove and heater. They want me to be homeless and dependent on their Nanny State tyranny. Time to fight back.

If it knows the route and the outside temperature there’s no reason for the range estimate to be so far off.
Three to four hours spent fueling on an 800 mile run which I do 2-4 times a year (always in one day). That would drive me nuts.
There is no reason for Tesla’s range estimate to be so far off. After all, it bills itself as an “AI” company. If it can’t even predicts how far its own battery will last, do you really want to trust it to drive itself?
That leaves only one possibility: fraud.

The only EV bet I’d make right now is Canoo (GOEV).
Most their contracts are commercial and for uses for which EV’s actually make some sense.
