Elon and Tesla should grift like crazy right now while there is time. He is destroying Tesla’s brand so fast I suspect Tesla’s long term future is heavily compromised.
The long term future of all EV’s was always heavily compromised. Nikola just filed for bankruptcy. That follows Canoo EV a couple months ago. All the legacy auto makers who bet big on EV’s are in trouble.
Elon doesn’t like his own AI call him liar so he has it censored out his name. You need to work harder to get Grok to tell the truth.

I sat in one of the original roadsters in 2008. Never was a fan. The fans drove sales up. But now they are driving them down.
Elon is a fascinating character. Obviously he’s a very smart guy. Anyone saying otherwise is just cope. But he also has a ton of character flaws, and it’s obvious, to me at least, that he is now self destructing in a very public way.
Elon likes to build things from scratch and shake things up, that makes him a great founder. A great war time CEO. The things he did at SpaceX and Tesla, I think nobody could have done. At least not with such speed. But Elon is also not that interested in iterative refinement of existing products and processes. He grew tired of making normal cars at Tesla and just did something crazy with Cybertruck. Actually he seems to be tired of cars entirely, and pivoted Tesla to robots and AI.
Someone compared Elon to Genghis Khan. Khan was very good at quickly taking territory but terrible at governing. The Mongols conquered China at breakneck speed in the 1200s, but their government was toppled a mere 80 years later.
The only EV company or ICE car company that bet big on EV’s and isn’t in trouble is BYD.
Win too quickly, quite often fail just as quick.
Slow and steady is more sustainable.
