Yes, all founders.
Elon himself said multiple times all of Tesla’s value is in FSD. We will see in under 100 days when they rolled out robotaxi in Austin. Hopefully for real this time, or else.
I tried Waymo last summer in San Francisco and it was absolutely amazing. The major downside of Waymo is the cost of its vehicles. But at least it works without a problem in SF, I think the most challenging driving environment in the US. If Tesla’s FSD works as well as Waymo but at significantly lower cost TSLA stock will rocket up.
Then shouldn’t you bet the farm on this opportunity? You badly missed out in 2018 and didn’t buy when I told you to, missing out on a 20x gain. Now is your chance to redeem yourself!
I use FSD everyday on the cybertruck. It’s amazing. It’s another 20x opportunity. No less.
I doubt it’s gonna be 20x. The highlighted "if* is a big if.
Currently FSD does not work as well as Waymo. With Waymo it’s fully automatic, and Google takes liability if anything goes wrong. Tesla doesn’t even do that in the Las Vegas loop, in an artificial environment it fully controls.
Of course Tesla may get there in a few years.
Investing is mostly psychology. If I invested in Tesla, I need to OK with a long period of being upside down. I need to have faith in its leadership. But I don’t, and you apparently do. So I congratulate your gain but I know that it’s not for me. That’s OK. There are plenty of other opportunities.
Waymo has humans intervening with those things. They are more like remote control than full self driving.
fSD has been a lie for 10 years. What’s different now?
Within the first 6 months of Model 3 production at Gigafactory Shanghai in 2020, Tesla built around 50,000 vehicles, which was unprecedented.
Xiaomi, better known for its electronics, produced 70,000 SU7 EVs in the first six months of production last year.
In January, Tesla sold about 8,000 Model 3s in China, while Xiaomi delivered more than 22,000 SU7 EVs. This trend is expected to continue.
Despite SU7 production already being higher than Model 3, you can get a Model 3 within “1-3 weeks” of ordering, while you have to wait “31-34 weeks” for a new SU7, according to Xiaomi’s online configurator:
I have said many times before Tesla’s biggest strength is its manufacturing prowess. All other western car firms struggle to scale their EV production. Not Tesla. But if there is anybody who can challenge Tesla in manufacturing it’s the Chinese. The Chinese build better and faster than everybody else. Even Tesla nowadays rolls out their new vehicles first in China.
Incidentally Xioami’s founder is now China’s richest person.
Musk is killing his brand. These dumpsters were selling for $120k plus tax. Dropped $10k in value in just last 2 months. My neighbor has one. Can’t fit in his garage. Sits outside in Tahoe weather. Gets dirty every time it snows. The dull stainless finish shows dirt like a dirty refrigerator.
I am thinking about calling the HOA, this thing is lowering our property values…

New 2024s may get dumped soon . The 2 million people on the waiting list are interested…
New Cybertrucks are going for $69k
Of course sleazy Musk marketing techniques mask the real cost. Plus he charges a $2000 non refundable deposit. He plans on renaming them the 21st century Delorean El Camino…
Elon also gave you 1.99% financing for the Cybertruck.
Prices for the Ford Lightening are also dropping like a stone. The whole concept was never viable.
Aptera went the other way and made an interesting, practical EV but missed the window to get financing. Stick in a fork it; EV’s are all but dead.
Are you still driving in the Stone Age with hands glued to the steering wheel and your foot stuck on either the accelerator or the brake? These days when I go into the car I just press couple buttons. The car then takes me to my destination without me having to lift another finger. That’s the future of driving. And only Tesla can do so as far as I can tell.
Driving is pleasurable. It provides a sense of autonomy and agency. I don’t know anyone who wants a self driving car. Most cars already have more technology than the consumer wants or even uses.
Waymo has better FSD than Tesla. I will wait till I am totally disabled before I will let a machine tell me how to drive. As far as EVs the Rav4 hybrid is now the number one selling vehicle in the US. Around 450,000 a year sold. Tesla sales dropped last year and now are dropping off a cliff. Musks arrogance will be his downfall. He thinks he can do anything, and his fanboys will follow him into bankruptcy… they will keep buying his stock… even when it drops below 100 by June… hybrids and possibly hydrogen are the future. EVs will always be limited to be commuter cars… EVs were actually popular over a 100 years ago and then disappeared for 100 years. Hybrids have only been around for 30 years… much more advanced technology. Once they put lithium batteries in hybrids they will be Tesla killers.
Tesla is crashing today down 15%…50% since December . You are probably buying. I would buy at 100.
I suggest you try it out. You’ll never want to go back to manual driving after that.
It’s dangerous for business people to get too deep into politics. The other side will get back into power eventually and things can get ugly.
Dems now hate Elon more than Trump. And they still make up most of Tesla’s customer base. Tesla’s Q1 report will be very interesting.
This is ironic. I always thought Tesla was like Apple… always using us suckers as beta testers.
But it’s actually much worse.
It really is quite shameful to be on the Left these days. They stand for corruption, extremism, and violence.
