Xi is going to kill the CCP. Chinese economy can either do a soft landing or a hard landing. The window for soft landing is closing fast.
you just violated
煽動顛覆國家政權罪
Try to loudly say 愛自由 in Hong Kong or China
you just violated
煽動顛覆國家政權罪
Above is said by Li Kashing. He still walk.
doesn’t matter originated from. you posted it is all it matters
Some interesting facts:
While many Hong Kong residents struggle to pay astronomical prices for “nano apartments” or " coffin homes," the city’s ultra-rich residents live in multimillion dollar mansions in ritzy neighborhoods like Deep Water Bay or the Peak, drive Porsches, and eat at one of the city’s 82 Michelin-starred restaurants.
What are the profile of the rioters? Millionaires or children of millionaires or aspiring millionaires or naive supporters of millionaires?
rioters? you mean dog police
you can feel free to walk into police station and ask them how old.
I would say most of them are above average. they got paid pretty well
rioters?
Everybody know who are the rioters.
The rioters are hoping Beijing will step in, so they can call for an invasion in their own country by the West.
Rioters are not 汉奸 because they would soon be naturalized citizens of another nation.
Also, has anyone not noticed that these riots are not being held in say, Victoria Peak where all the loaded people are?
HKers want…
an excuse to break up
or
force regime change in Beijing

This kind of riot needs long time and lots of effort to peace out. Even if they want to stop, some peace-loving, democracy-promoting country won’t let them. Setting your house on fire and laughing at your firefighting is their hobby.
The mainlanders have once been there and it lasted for a decade. Students went riot and boycotted classes, despised authority and proud to be rebels, random people got attacked just because of different point of views, and young persons fought each other under noble slogans/execuses, and the whole country was paralyzed. Exactly the same as what is happening in HK today.

Li didn’t address that to the youngsters. He just said violence should stop and “rule of law” be upheld, without saying explicitly who were the violent ones and who broke the rule of law.
That’s why he’s the Superman.
Do you understand what 「法治」”rule of law” mean?
The renowned academic reflects on unresolved tensions that have endured ever since the formulation of ‘one country, two systems’.
Wang said the Tiananmen Square crackdown affected how Hongkongers felt about Beijing and their disillusionment was very strong. The fear of communist rule prompted a wave of emigration, with thousands queuing outside foreign consulates for application forms to leave Hong Kong.
Is HK ever a democracy?
“Hong Kong people know that the Chinese would have loved to move the financial centre to Shanghai, but they couldn’t do it. This is Hong Kong’s strongest card – the contribution of its financial services to China.”
If the riots continue, Chinese no need to try very hard to get Shanghai to replace HK as the FC.
Xi
Is he a “red and expert” or can catch mice is a good cat?
Is HK ever a democracy?
Why does that matter? China was broke under Mao, therefore it should stay broke?
If the riots continue, Chinese no need to try very hard to get Shanghai to replace HK as the FC.
Why not?
@manch has no reasonable response at least he has stopped labeling and character assassination.
It matters because why didn’t protest for democracy, freedom and 2nd class citizen status during the white era? Is current riot about democracy or unwilling to be governed by “inferior” beings who have “inferior” system?
