Trump tweets

Lol. You tried to make an argument about Trump going back to Germany. I pointed out he doesn’t say Germany is better and the US should be like Germany. Then you flipped back to it’s racist. That’s classic pivot when your logic is ripped apart as bad logic.

Think of it this way: if you are a parent it’s okay to call out your child for bad behavior even though you still love him/her.

Full disclosure: I’m probably going to vote for the guy again in 2020 considering the grand scheme of things (including there is no qualified democratic candidate) but when the president made a racist remark it’s never wrong to point it out. The guy is far from being a saint.

Trump should have framed his argument based on values that these 4 represent that he/Republican Party/large_section_of_Americans differ with and not on parents_nationality/(past nationality).

My hunch is, it’s probably because these 4 continue with their “Impeach Trump” slogan inspite of the Mueller report inspite of Nancy Pelosi and most of the Democratic Party against impeachment talk any longer.

Again, Trump should not have said what he did…

Unfortunately elections are coming and these things will get more frequent in the company of AOC(Bimbo-Amazon hater,Socialist… etc etc… ) or Omar(wears a religious headgear first time in 181 years in US Congress and Congress rules have to changed, anti semitic etc etc) or Tlaib(calls Trump a mothe.F…r, is anti Israel … etc etc) & all these issues that they profess are generally against long standing US values & policies & all of them continue to ask for Trump impeachment.

As a result of this action, Trump either gave these 4 a higher pedestal than they deserve(1st time Congresswomen), OR he has calculated as long as Trump can paint these 4 AS THE Democratic party(Open Borders party, larger government demand etc etc… i.e.anti American values in general) in the eyes of the electorate it will help him in the election .

The racist remark thing is BS and has been proven. People take the “racist” quote change the group of people and no one complains about it being racist. If it was directed at Israeli Jewish people, no one would even care. It’s to the point nothing negative can be said about certain groups or the person saying it is racist.

About ilhan Omar - written by a former Somali citizen

If US was majority racist today, then Obama could not have won twice, back to back, 1st time against a War Hero/POW, 2nd time against a former governor, successful businessman both incidentally caucasian.

Sure, there are some people who might think that way, but they do not sway the election as shown by my example above.

Pelosi said it right to the 4 congresswomen -“Twitter following/discussions do not represent what large majority of the country thinks”

Close cousin of “go back to where you came from” is “speak English!” Saw someone shouted that in the face of some Chinese aunties in Great Mall. Pretty shocked to hear that even in the supposedly liberal Bay Area.

America is great because our institutions and citizenry are more ready for multiculturalism than most other countries. That way we can attract the best talents no matter where they are from. Compare that with China this is our most potent weapon.

Some stories about people on the receiving end of “go back to where you came from”:

Just like the whole #notmyariel fiasco. A few non-verified twitter users with minimal following tweeted about it. Based on the uproar, you’d have thought a majority of the county used the hashtag or someone important did. Those few people meant the whole country is racist.

I think most Trump voters are not racists, and voted for Trump because they thought they were abandoned economically by both parties(they might have instead voted for Bernie if he was on the Ticket). To continually hear Trump voters are white nationalists(implying therefore the only reason whites voted for Trump is skin color) from the Democrats, might bring them and some other whites who are currently independents together.

While I was a dealer at casino m8trix, I heard a person make a go back to your own country remark to someone at my table. I informed her that that kind of talk would not be tolerated and if she did it again she would be barred. We need more people who are willing to stand up to these bullies…

I don’t think most trump voters are racists either. But clearly some are.

You literally just described many blue collar people I know in Michigan. They feel Clinton, Obama, and much of the democratic party abandoned them. The party caters to super elites, and its coalition of minority groups. If you’re middle class and white, they just don’t care. Democrats spend their time lecturing them about their privilege and how they need to do more for minorities.

The most racist thing I’ve heard is the woman on the bus last night. She was LOUDLY talking on her phone and every 5th word was the n-word. Of course she was black, so that was totally acceptable.

Have you seen the comments from AOC, Omar or
On nytimes

How does that affect whether some trump voters are racists or not?

Clearly some Democrats are communists then according to Trump and Lindsey Graham

I was talking about where you said that you also believe most Trump supporters are not racists. However, You seem to be among the minuscule minority based on the sources I posted earlier.

This is why I can’t take the racism argument seriously. It should be equally racist to vote for or against someone based purely on race. However, no one is going to call people that voted for Obama purely on race racist. The left largely looks the other way on racism towards the Jewish. What about the Irish? How do bars still serve a drink called an Irish car bomb? Imagine a drink called black slave. Yet the derogatory drink about the Irish is fine. We’ve turned St Patrick’s day into a day of getting drunk. Imagine if that’s what happened on MLK day. The selectiveness of what’s racist and what isn’t is pure BS and political pandering.

For all the hysteria about Trump being a racist, his approval amount minority groups keeps improving. Not everyone buys the hysteria. You’d never know the approval rating among minorities is increasing based on democrat hysteria. They are probably terrified he’s hitting their stronghold which would kill their 2020 chances. They need to play emotions, since the facts aren’t in their favor.

Happens more than you think. It’s gotten a lot better compared to 20+ years ago though.

I am actually disappointed at the casting. The audience is looking for a replica of the original animation, so it’s not even a race issue. I would be equally mad if Disney casts a White person as Mulan.

USA does have a history that’s why the discussion weighs in one direction vs equally in all directions.

However people do use that excuse to shut down discussions nowadays.
