We Are in Bear Market

Never bitter, only sarcastic  Not gonna flaunt TWTR; in fact most of my stocks are green today, but I don’t talk about them because they won’t be green everyday. Don’t think I’m ever gonna celebrate until the day I sell and lock in the gains.

It’s like an all you can eat buffet right now. Have to be careful because I can’t eat them all :pensive:

FB’s double bottom broke. :sob:

What price did you get it at? If you are still breathing that’s all that matters - you can get it back.

Dow dives 300 points, S&P 500 dips into correction levels in another wild day on Wall Street

GDP grew more than forecasted (3.5% vs. 3.3%). Rate hike is gonna happen again whether you like it or not:

U.S. Economy Grew at 3.5% Rate in Third Quarter

Until Nov 6th, we will get many UPs or Downs, never going to stop. Whatever may be the outcome of elections, stock has to go up thereafter (Purely my speculative guess !)

Tax cut, fed raise and trade war all contribute to the dollar’s rise:

The rising dollar is a major reason for this stock sell-off, and it’s only getting worse - CNBC

Up a little, down a lot

We are hovering around the bottom. Can’t be much more downside. Maybe another 5% down max.

With economy is doing fine, down market is an opportunity to buy.

This is the time to act like warren buffet right? When everyone is scared, he jumps in. You will see WB report by Nov 14th or 15th what he would have bought now.

Famous last words! :scream:

Seriously, I think we are still in a strong secular bull market. I still believe in that. But there can be a few cyclical downturns in a secular bull. Just look at the period from 1982 to 2000. There are quite a few crises and some are downright scary like 1987.

Fundamentals are still strong. Just need to kick Trump’s ass real hard in the midterms to rein in his bad policies.
