Blame the mayor and city council of Menlo Park. FB planned its HQ in Cupertino (rejected), then PA (rejected). Menlo Park rushed in and welcomed FB with open arms. FB singlehandedly push up the prices in South Bay. Upon hearing that FB is about to IPO around 2011-2012, everybody rush in to buy, reversing the downward biased trend to a roaring bull trend.
