Bitcoin's 10 trillion dollar valuation is fast approaching

sorry to say this: ideas are dime a dozen. Execution is the key.

for sure. all I can do is try.

Don’t do consulting. Be a founder.

.

Execute means?

For CEO, network and relationships are more critical.
For execution, get a good COO… any Directors+ from any FANGMANT will do.

That or the network and experience from consulting puts them in a position to be more successful as founders.

It will be interesting to see how virtual worlds develop. It wouldn’t surprise me if people start by building closed worlds, especially the large incumbents (ex: Facebook) who have big private databases and entrenched network effects around them to defend. Just like the walled gardens of AOL and CompuServe at the beginning of the internet, that could work well for a few years, but eventually will get steamrolled by open worlds the same way AOL and Compuserve got steamrolled by the open internet. If that’s the case, there’s a huge opportunity to start by building with an open mindset.

WSJ: Binance Became the Biggest Cryptocurrency Exchange Without Licenses or Headquarters.

The world’s fastest-growing major financial exchange has no head office or formal address, lacks licenses in countries where it operates and has a chief executive who until recently wouldn’t answer questions about his location.

Started just four years ago, Binance is the exchange giant that towers over the digital currency world, a crypto equivalent of the London, New York and Hong Kong stock exchanges combined. After a burst of growth, Binance processes more trades for cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and ether each day, $76 billion worth, than its four largest competitors put together, according to data provider CryptoCompare.

Binance is super sketchy. I’d worry more about Binance blowing up than Coinbase.

Did Crypto crash? COIN drops 6+%

Spectral is promising. It tries to replace FICO score (outdated methodology with inherent bias)

https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2021/11/13/2333707/0/en/Spectral-Raises-6-75-Million-to-Build-a-Decentralized-Credit-Bureau.html

Yeah. Last time someone came up with “new math”, we had high risk mortgages bundled as AAA rated MBS. We all saw how that one ended. It was brilliant until it wasn’t.

FICO was the most accurate predictor of default in the Great Recession. Saying it’s biased it just woke speak for minorities have lower scores, so it must be biased.

Bitcoin getting very close to bottoming imo. Maybe another 24-48 hours. Ethereum may have more to go. Fear & greed looks good too. I’m average BTFD and likely buy a lot more GBTC tomorrow for IRA.

Saw many peeps on twitter grasping for hopium.

Cycles have most likely lengthened. The fractal guys who keep insisting this time will play out exactly like 2013 and 2017 would be sorely disappointed IMO.

Cowen put in the argument for a lengthening cycle.

Bitcoin Falls Almost 20% Since Record as Crypto Bulls Retreat

  • Bitcoin hovered around $57,000 in quiet Friday trading
  • Analysts say tougher U.S. tax policy is hurting sentiment

I don’t think those had much effect. It’s lacking a catalyst for bitcoin and it failed to breakout clean after passing ATH. Bitcoin is really lacking the conviction…I think mainly due to too many altcoins and returns you can achieve from those. Either way, I bought the dip yesterday heavily on both ethereum, bitcoin and some altcoins. Hopefully, it continues up but I wouldn’t be surprised if there is another dip.

Crapto crumble…

Btw I heard tulips just hit an all time high. Lots of conviction there. I will be setting up a booth in the Valley Fair Mall outside of Gamestop. Bitcoin was so last year, come buy my tulips!
